About Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited, formerly known as Moody International Nigeria Limited, is an established energy services company operating within Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
The company was established in 1996 through a partnership between Moody International Group and Nigerian investors. It commenced operations in March 1997 and has since maintained its involvement in various projects within Nigeria’s energy sector.
Working in the oil and gas industry requires accurate technical information, reliable documentation and effective records management. Geological logs, technical reports and other project documents provide important information that supports exploration activities, research and operational decisions.
To support these requirements, Amaiden Energy Nigeria is seeking an experienced Digital Log Assistant and Data Analyst to assist with the conversion, verification, organisation and preservation of technical records.
Job Overview
The Digital Log Assistant and Data Analyst will be responsible for converting historical geological records into digital formats, maintaining organised document archives and ensuring that technical information is properly stored for future reference.

The successful candidate will also handle the scanning and storage of legacy paper documents, ensuring that archived materials remain accessible and properly indexed.
Beyond digitisation, the role involves administrative coordination, document verification and quality control. The employee will work with technical documents and official correspondence, making confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail essential requirements.
This opportunity is particularly suitable for professionals with previous experience in geological log digitisation, technical records management or document archiving within the oil and gas industry.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
1. Geological Log Digitisation

- Ensure that all documents meet the required quality standards before archiving.
- Maintain consistency in document preparation and storage procedures.
4. Records Archiving and Indexation
- Maintain a systematic archive of geological logs, technical reports and official documents.
- Apply appropriate classification and indexing methods to make document retrieval easier.
- Ensure that barcodes are consistently applied to logs, reports and other documents.

The following competencies will be important for successful performance:
Technical Digitisation Skills: Practical knowledge of geological log digitisation processes and the ability to work with specialised software.
Document Management: Ability to organise large volumes of technical records using appropriate classification and indexing systems.
Attention to Detail: Capacity to identify errors, incomplete records and inconsistencies during scanning and verification.

Confidentiality: Understanding of the importance of protecting sensitive company documents and technical information.
Time Management: Ability to prioritise assignments and complete document processing activities within established deadlines.
Understanding the Importance of Digital Log Management
In the oil and gas industry, geological information is an important resource. Historical well logs and related technical records can support geological interpretation, research and operational planning.
However, older records are not always available in convenient electronic formats. Some exist as paper documents, transparent materials or other physical archives that require specialised handling before they can be incorporated into modern digital information systems.
Digitisation helps preserve these records and makes it easier for authorised technical teams to access historical information.
For this reason, the Digital Log Assistant and Data Analyst plays an important supporting role in information management. The position requires more than general computer knowledge; it demands practical experience in handling technical records and maintaining reliable archives.

Qualified candidates interested in this opportunity should submit their applications through the official Amaiden Energy Nigeria recruitment platform.
