Seedar Group is hiring a creative and results-focused Digital Marketing Specialist to support a fintech client and strengthen its online presence across Nigeria and international markets. This is an opportunity for a digitally minded professional who can combine content strategy, paid advertising, audience insight and performance reporting to help a growing brand attract attention and convert that attention into measurable business results.
Role Details
- Position: Digital Marketing Specialist
- Work arrangement: Full-time, remote
- Location: Lagos
- Experience: 2–5 years
- Qualification: BA, BSc or HND
- Salary: ₦150,000–₦200,000 monthly
About the Opportunity
The successful candidate will help shape how the fintech client communicates with customers in Nigeria and with Nigerians and other audiences living abroad. The role requires more than simply publishing social media posts. You will help translate business goals into clear campaigns, useful content and persuasive messages that make the company easier to understand and easier to trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Create weekly and monthly content calendars with clear objectives, themes, captions and calls to action.
- Develop educational, promotional and community-focused content for Nigerian and diaspora audiences.
- Launch, monitor and optimise advertising campaigns on Meta and Google.
- Test different audiences, creative formats, messages and landing-page approaches.
- Coordinate with designers, copywriters and other creatives on marketing materials.
- Track traffic, leads, conversions, engagement and campaign costs.
- Use audience segmentation, retargeting and competitor research to improve campaign performance.
- Prepare regular reports that explain results, lessons learned and practical recommendations.
- Maintain consistent brand messaging across social media, advertising and other digital channels.
What We’re Looking For
- At least two years of hands-on digital marketing experience.
- A strong record of managing business or brand social media accounts.
- Practical knowledge of Meta Ads, Google Ads, Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite.
- Good copywriting, communication, planning and analytical skills.
- The ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritise multiple campaigns.
- Comfort with reviewing performance data and turning insights into action.
- Experience in fintech, financial services or international marketing is an advantage.
Skills That Will Help You Succeed
A strong candidate should be able to move comfortably between creative and analytical work. You may spend part of the day writing a campaign concept, refining a caption or reviewing a content calendar, then use the next part of the day to compare cost per lead, click-through rates, audience quality and conversion performance. Clear communication is important because the role involves working with creatives and business stakeholders to keep campaigns accurate, timely and aligned with commercial priorities.
Why This Role Matters
Digital marketing is especially important for a fintech business because potential customers often need clear explanations before they take action. Effective content can answer common questions, build confidence, highlight useful services and guide audiences towards the next step. By serving both local and international audiences, the role also offers an opportunity to develop campaigns that recognise different customer needs, behaviours and expectations.
How to Apply
Send your CV to hr@seedargroup.com with “Digital Marketing Specialist” as the email subject. Candidates should present their experience clearly and highlight relevant campaign results, social media work, advertising experience and any fintech or financial-services exposure.
